We all know that the player who has blocked th most is Hakeen Olajuwan , but Russell may be the person who blocked the most if NBA has counted the block number when he was still in basketball court. John Havlicek , th Hall of Fame player in NBA, has commeted on Bill Russell:" A best comment that a basketball player can get is that he can mkae his teamate more better than before. No one could do better than Russell ." In 1968 , the first year which NBA decided to list the defensive first team , they gave this honor to Russell .
